My Story of Minecraft

  • by

This story is about me, so if you don’t like that, just move on please. This story is about my experiences and hardships with this game, in honor of Minecraft’s 10th anniversary. I’m sorry that I couldn’t celebrate it with you all. I don’t have a good memory, but this is a true story. Some stuff might not add up, so I apologize in advance.

My story starts with Youtube. My first videos on Youtube were Jacksepticeyes happy wheels and funny cat videos. I didn’t own a computer, so I watched these on my brand new 3DS. This was before flipnote hatena was taken down, but after the release of the 3DS. It was probably around 2013. My friend Austin introduced me to a blocks game called Minecraft. We set up a creative server on his xbox 360 and started playing. I was captivated by this game. I loved it, but didn’t understand it too well. I remember thinking gold Armour was the best, hitting dogs with bones to try and tame them, not knowing how to open a door, trying to make redstone rails turn, and trying to hug a creeper. (No joke, I thought it was sad).

Then my friend moved away because he was poor. I missed him, and his game. (I was an impulsive little brat.) I then referred to watching SkyDoesMinecraft’s gameplay and also TheNobleNoah (do you guys know him?) For my minecraft information. I would watch them have all that fun, and I wished I could join in.

Finally, about 4-5 years ago, my parents got the game for me. I loved it. I played it until my computer broke (related, but not to this story). I then left the game again because I couldn’t play it. I pretended to hate the game, but no one believed me, and bullied me for liking it, they still do. It hurt. It hurt a lot. I am sad.

(Irrelevant time passing I don’t want to share)

About a year or two ago, I got it on my computer, and mainly played bedwars with my friends. Now I have it on my xbox, and play it there too. Its great. I will he sad when the game dies, as it inevitably will due to memes. But for now, I am kinda happy I guess. Thank you for reading my story. Sorry that I am too busy today to join you all in playing, it hurts. Happy Tenth Birthday Minecraft. May 17, 2009 to today, May 17, 2019. I hope you don’t die again.
